The lenses are arranged in a special device called a "cleaning frame" and then placed in an ultrasonic cleaner to clean the surface.

After being placed in the ultrasonic cleaner, the lenses are moved in and out of the cleaning tanks, and after being cleaned repeatedly in several cleaners, they are transferred to the coating process.
